A Comprehensive Estate & Financial Check-up
We extend to you an invitation for a comprehensive estate and retirement check-up consultation—no strings attached. Your check-up will include the following:

Estate Planning Documents Review

The first part of your “check-up” is a thorough review of all your documents: wills, trusts, medical directives, HIPAA authorization, guardianship provisions, DPOA, etc.—followed by recommendations, if needed, to better coordinate your estate and retirement income planning. This can be valuable to you, a surviving spouse, children, or other heirs.

Retirement Income Longevity Analysis

Whether you are currently retired or preparing for such, this part of the “check-up” will be a personalized review and assessment of all of your retirement funds (IRA’s, 401(k), TSA, etc.) to answer the looming concern of most retirees, “How much do I/we have to live on—no matter how long I/we live?” We will compare whatever you are currently doing against the available alternatives, which could make a significant difference in the amount and longevity of your retirement income.

Minimize the Burden of Long Term Care

The likelihood for the need of some form of long term care assistance during your retirement years is statistically compelling; depleting your assets, if such a requirement were to arise, is certainly not a welcome thought. Fortunately, there are a number of cost-effective options that can minimize this financial concern. An appraisal of your personal needs and resources, with a comparison against the various available alternatives, can prepare you for this possible health care necessity.

A Life Insurance & Annuity Policy Review

If you have a universal life insurance policy, the probability of it performing as well as it was originally projected is unlikely—mostly due to low interest rates in the marketplace. Consequently, you would likely greatly benefit from a professional analysis and review; odds are you will need at least a partial life insurance policy rescue. Additionally, an in-depth review of any annuities you might have could also prove to be financially beneficial to you.

Clarify your Beneficiary Arrangements

Complete, accurate, and congruent primary and contingent beneficiary designations can assure your spouse, children, or other heirs, that when you pass away their “inheritance” will be both correctly divided and timely distributed. Therefore, this assessment will include a comprehensive beneficiary review of all of your estate planning documents and financial instruments: life insurance, annuities, CDs, IRA’s, brokerage accounts, savings bonds, etc.

Additional Benefit of our Visit

Shortly after our visit, you will receive a follow-up written synopsis of all of our observations of your current financial situation, with any recommendations for improvements that might be of benefit to you. Included in our visit will be an offer to receive a personalized Estate Planning Portfolio: a digital notebook of all your documents and important papers. This will allow you to have everything organized and easily accessible in one place—providing you and your loved ones peace of mind.
